Description

In 1963, Gus Coral began photographing a little-known band called the Rolling Stones as they embarked on their first tour - a 36-night stand through Northern England, where they performed with their idols Bo Diddley, Little Richard, and the Everly Brothers. It was the landmark moment when American R&B met British rock 'n' roll, and the tour turned the Rolling Stones from struggling performers into the legendary band that thirty years later continues to play to sold-out houses.
