Audio-Technica AT-VM745xML – Cartridge with Nude Microlinear Stylus
The Audio-Technica AT-VM745xML is a high-quality MM cartridge from the new AT-VMx series, designed for demanding vinyl playback. Thanks to its Nude Microlinear stylus, it provides highly accurate groove tracing, low distortion and excellent detail retrieval, even toward the inner grooves of the record.
The cartridge uses a solid boron cantilever, which is light, rigid and extremely precise. Compared with standard aluminium cantilevers, boron allows faster and more accurate transfer of stylus movement, resulting in a cleaner, more focused and more reference-oriented sound.
The sound character of the AT-VM745xML is balanced, detailed and highly precise. It is ideal for listeners looking for clean, neutral reproduction with excellent resolution, accurate imaging and very good instrument separation.
A major advantage of the Audio-Technica AT-VMx series is the option to replace the stylus within the same cartridge family. Different stylus types can be used on the same cartridge body, allowing the sound character to be fine-tuned according to personal preferences and system setup.
